I thought the day of rest was Saturday? What are you thoughts on this?

We homeschool five children and are usually careful to choose activities that involve all the children rather than to separate. However, baseball is in my husbands blood well as two of my sons. He coaches both teams and is out with them 6-7 days per week and the rest of us go 5-6 times for the games. We signed up for the National Bible Bee, yet have no focus, no quiet time to settle down and work on this. May/June are normally overload in wrapping up our school year, making homeschool portfolios for the school district, evaluations, SAT's, closing programs, etc.. Now with 2 in baseball it put me over the edge. We love backyard baseball and cookouts when Daddy gets home from work but that seems to not be an option for now. When we have rested/relaxed on Sunday after church, the rest of the week was truely a peaceful blessing and we were closer to God. My point...yes, it is so true that when you run and run, you cannot be still enough to Hear His Voice!

Hi Leanne, this is the one I called about. How can the kids or us hear God, if we are not being still and Hearing His voice.
